Maybe it was us that let the devil do it for us. How many times have we all given permission to take away from those our hearts have darkened against.
As long as It is someone else doing the taking for us we don’t look up from our plates of good fortune.

When we stop looking down to turn to prayer trying to forgive ourselves, we can see the true faces of our own evil done in our names by a dark shadow we like to call the devil.
