Get out of the way | Retired RCMP officer Mark Foreman condemns Justin Trudeau's abysmal leadership

Mark Foreman was a police officer for 23 years in Canada: 10 years with the Niagara regional police, 13 years with Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). He helped to train thousands of police officers over the years.

Many police officers who stood up for people's charter rights have been fired or are on the receiving end of calls to be fired. This is a disgrace because police officers who stand up for people's charter rights need to be hired and employed, not fired.

Why are just the lower ranking police officers speaking out? Why is the leadership in the police absent at the time when they're most needed?

The model of the RCMP is 'Uphold the law'. The highest law in the land is the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Section 1 of this Charter says:

"The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society."

The bar of "reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society" has clearly not been met, so the people still have all their fundamental rights that the tyrannical government is now trying to unlawfully steal. No constitutional lawyer or judge is required to determine what is evident.

One of the writers of the charter, Brian Peckford, is screaming to the world what the men who framed the Charter meant by it. Look this man up and listen to him.

The minimum conditions for any emergency powers of the government have not been met and government circumvented parliamentary procedures in order to enact these emergency orders. Therefore the government orders are unlawful. Unlawful orders should NOT be obeyed by the police or anyone else.

Trudeau's 'plan' for this 'pandemic' has been dismal, akin to installing a screen door on a submarine. When the submarine started sinking, the policy was to install a second screen door, and then a third and a fourth. Insanity: If it ain't workin', do more of the same.

Trudeau is not acting like a leader. Public servants are not supposed to act like Trudeau is currently.

Mark Foreman calls for Trudeau to come back and talk to the protesters. He ensures that these people are not scary and even offers to be Trudeau's bodyguard.

There's a saying, 'Lead, follow or get out of the way.' Trudeau has proven to be incapable of being a leader, too arrogant to be a follower, so he needs to just get out of the way.
