Thread: Wapsi UTC Ultra Thread 70 Denier, Black
Body: Chenille Mop material, Tan
Bead: 3/16" Tugnsten bead, Matte Black
Dubbing: Black, SLF or Black Lifecycle Dubbing
Hackle: Hen Neck Hackle, Black

The Mop fly is a simple fly to tie but very effective at catching multiple fish species. The body is made from short chenille pieces cut from a mop, thus the name. You can get them in many different colors so you can have flies to suit many fishing applications.

Note: Updated 05-24-2019 - in the video I mentioned that the Mop material comes in one size, I have discovered I am wrong. It can be found on various "mops" in smaller sizes in case you are looking to tie a smaller fly.
