Institutionalized Gaslighting and Collective Pathological Denial

"Brain dead, full of money...no future at all.." Those lyrics from Phish's "AC/DC BAG," pretty much some up the Western world at this moment. Gaslighting has become a cultural survival mechanism, employed by media and citizen alike to invalidate any one that dares speak the Truth, no matter how painfully obvious. Collective pathological denial is at heart of it all, and is as insidious as a prevuiosly very rare condition that causes tastebuds to form in the anus, bulshitlickulitus. This condition was once very rare, but because it is caused by constantly talking out of your ass, it used to only occur in preachers and politicians; it has become disturbingly common.
I have seen some things today that sent alarm bells ringing, and got my gears turning and grinding, so I decided to hop on today and share some thoughts. Some of these things were interesting in an encouraging sense, so there is some silver in the lining here.
