Holy Hangover // Anointing (Part 5)

Anxiety comes from
- demands of service (Jesus had power leave Him Mark 5:30),
- demise of sin (Samson had power leave him Judges 16:20)
- devise of satan (1 Sam.16:14; Isaiah 61:3; 2 Timothy 1:7).

1. How you respond in wilderness will determine how long you will stay in wilderness.
40 years vs 40 days. Bible says put on the armor to STAND in the evil DAY!

2. Spirit brings you to wilderness but Scriptures get you through it. Rely on what you know instead of what you feel!

3. God’s silence is not God’s absence. Silence does not mean absence. Silence means test. Don’t yell, just remember what you were taught before this. Jesus quoted the scriptures.

4. If you are going through hell, keep on going. Devil is lion - heart and lungs. Least stamina

5. God rewards those who seek Him, not just those who find Him. David was after God’s heart, not just that David had God’s heart. Blessed are those who thirst for righteousness, not just blessed are those who have righteousness.

6. Suffering is not an excuse to stop serving.

7. Sometimes the best thing you can do on your worse day is to take a nap.

8. If you missed my devotions, it does not mean I lost my devotion. I don’t feel guilty for not praying but I should feel hungry.

9. Don’t make decisions while in wilderness.

10. Develop stamina. Fruit of patience can’t be developed any other way!!! It’s not how you start but how you finish.
