Chariots of Fire (1981) - Opening Scene

The main theme from Chariots of Fire, composed my Vangelis, was an instant hit and is now one of the most well-known film themes around. Some may argue that the synthesiser sound was a wrong fit for the film, or that 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' should have won the music Oscar that year; but there's no denying that this opening scene of barefoot running along a beach is a moment of movie magic that we don't get to see too often.
