60 Gallon DeWalt air compressor failed within 1st year... Let's fix it.

Honestly i'm not surprised. It could've happened for any number of reasons, but my guess is just cheap chinese parts... After diagnosing it seems the start capacitor had failed on the motor. All together, customer service was great and the motor did fail within the warranty period so i was able to get a new one. Hopefully i'll be able to find the correct start cap and i'll have a good spare motor. A fairly simple repair, but altogether a little disheartening that it failed within the first year of light usage. Maybe something to consider for those of you thinking about purchasing one.
