Australia's Hidden Shame

More then 100 Afghan refugees drove to the capital to show they were still there to a government who has basically wiped their hands of these people. There are many more refugees who could not be present that are suffering with serious mental health issues brought on by the inhumane treatment by the Australian government.

These are Afghan refugees held in limbo for over 10 years by the Australian government. These men have no visa, and they have no status as Australian permanent residence. They were first held in detention for several years before being moved into a ghetto in Melbourne. Now they fight for recognition, freedom & their families.
