Baldur's Gate 3 - patch 6 - episode 15 Drunk and Sleeping

With patch 6 out I was advised that I needed to revisit Baldur's Gate and try out a wild magic sorcerer. And so we are back. I am not intending on this being a full play through of the available early access content but I would like to play through a bit farther than I have in the past. Expect it to be a thing for a bit anyway. :)

Baldur's Gate 3 from Larian Studios is an early access CRPG based on the fully licensed Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition rule-set and setting. Baldur's Gate has turn based combat and party mechanics. In my opinion Larian has reached the pinnacle of technical success with this offering. The dice roll mechanics are second to none and the verticality of movement in combat is simply amazing. However, while they have given us a finally crafted story it falls a little short of the mark when it comes to enjoyment for me, as I really dislike pretty much every party member available. They went for dark and gritty and decided that every character needed to be an anti-hero. I think they overshot their mark and just made every character miserable to play. I have hopes that as I get farther into the game, party options will open up and I will have more choice. Failing that, I hope for some sort of unrealistic character development that will transform the existing characters into somebody I don't hate. :) We'll see. So far I have been loving the game in it's current state on this play-through, despite the party members.
