300: Rise Of An Empire

What is great about mixing water and 3D is the way stuff gets suspended in it. Dangling there like a shaken snow globe. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of underwater shots. Most of the debris is seen above water. And what a display of carnage it is.

This lovely splat-fest takes the perspective of the Greeks during the invasion related to in the original 300. It rewrites the context of the first movie to fit this story in. That doesn’t make Rise Of An Empire a bad movie. But I do feel the original 300 is better disconnected from it. Love to see the original converted it to 3D.
