Often, if they are used to daily walks, furries are very sociable when they meet other pets. If this is the case with your pet, it is certainly not common to see the dog barking at another during a walk. At home, however, the situation can be quite different.

Although there are exceptions, a puppy's behavior towards others is often different inside and outside its territory. The reasons that usually make the dog angry are: dispute over food, toys, hierarchy or attention from the tutor and family members.

According to the veterinarian at Petz, Dr. Tuany Fialho, there is a biological reason for this: “dogs have a hormonal start that causes a dispute over territory”, explains the specialist. So, if you come across dogs fighting, know that control of the environment is at stake.

The veterinarian concludes by saying that “this instinct [to fight with other animals] is linked to survival through the search for food, shelter, females, etc”. So understand that pets don't fight because they are angry or "bad". It's a simple question
