MZTV 487: How Paul Handles Obscene Greeks

If Paul wants the Greeks to whom he's writing to behave, he can't throw the law back at them ("Thou shalt not be obscene"), and he's already told them that they are to be disposed to that which is above, not on the earth. He does so by writing his behavioral instructions to them in the middle voice—a special form of the Greek verb that is neither active nor passive. Here's how that works. (More details coming up on MZTV 488.)
