The North Island Convoy finally arrives at parliament in Wellington and speeches take place on the steps of parliament while the politicians ignore proceedings and continue to debate on climate change bills inside.

Some controversy unfolds as one of the lead speakers seems to contradict the intent of the organisers to dig in, and urges those peiople who drove the length of the country to stand their gound at parliament, to disperse and return to their communities until the next rally later in the month.

Not everyone agreed with this proposition and an encampment forms in parliament grounds.
