Stacey Abrams's campaign team posts ad for a social media manager - days after her maskless photo with schoolchildren caused uproar

The posting comes days after Georgia gubernatorial candidate Abrams sparked outrage online after retweeting an image of herself maskless during a visit to Glenwood Elementary School
The Democrat, who has been branded a 'mask fascist' on the social media platform, had retweeted the photo of her visit at Glenwood Elementary School Friday before quickly deleting it
It is not clear whether the post advertising the position - which calls for applicants to 'manage approval process for all outbound social media content' - comes in response to the controversy surrounding Abrams
The photo had been originally shared by Dr Holly Brookins, the school's principal, who said Abrams, 48, had read the class of small children her book Stacey's Extraordinary Words to kick off Black History Month.
Abrams, who recently called Georgia Governor Brian Kemp 'incompetent' for moving to block local mask mandates, has since deleted her tweet. Kemp, who may face Abrams in the Fall, also took to Twitter
'Stacey Abrams wants state government mask mandates for Georgians and their children. But it looks like they wouldn’t apply when she’s attending a photo op,' he wrote on the social media platform
The controversy comes on the heels of a series of public outcries against Democrat leaders who have failed to abide by the same same draconian COVID-19 guidelines they have preached throughout the pandemic
New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman was seen smiling without mask in photo with masked students at high school just days after urging people to wear face coverings.
