MZTV 478 - 07/20/2020: Crucify Your Passions and Lusts; It's Easy

When Paul says to "crucify your passions and lusts" in Galatians 5:24, he does not say "crucify" by accident. We do not assault our passions and lusts with frontal attacks. This only makes them more powerful. No one ever died of crucifixion, per se. They died of their inability to get food, water, and oxygen. This is how we are to deal with passions and lusts: starve them of what they need, which is our attention. In this context, "attention" equals "trying in the flesh to fix them." This is the most liberating message you may ever hear.
