The Bible is Old, I Like That

The Bible has been around for thousands of years. The basic morality of the bible goes back 3500 years to the time Moses wrote it down. Prior to that it goes back another 2500 years or so to the beginning of time. As a Christian, I like that. I like knowing that when I get up in the morning, my value system will still be the same. The journey to heaven is tough enough, I don't want to have to learn a new bible from time to time.

I like consistency in my bible study. I like consistency in my prayer life. I like consistency in meditation. Life is often rather crazy and inconsistent, so I will take my consistency in this pilgrimage where I can get it.
