Christians are human, we stumble, bumble, wobble, and sin from time to time (James 3:2). Relax, it is all part of learning to imitate Jesus. It is the learning curve. We are finite beings. I like to say that God created us limited on purpose. You were not perfect the moment you converted to Christ.

Keep your eye on heaven and keep pressing on the upward way. Keep trying to get better and better. Learn to say no to sin more and more. When you sin, repent, get back up and move on. Don't let sin keep you down. Everyone makes dumb mistakes. It is just part of being a spirit on a spiritual journey.

Look, even after living a Christian life for 40, 50, or 60 years, you are still going to stumble into sin from time to time. Stop expecting absolute flawless, sinless perfection of yourself. Sure, aim for a perfect score, but don't beat yourself up when you fall short. Just get back up and try again. Refuse to let Satan win.
