Proper Christian Comparison for Success

Some Christians compare themselves to lesser people, sinners, and then think they are doing really great. Well, they may truly be better than the sinners they compared themselves too, but that’s the wrong standard. We don't excel in Christianity by comparing ourselves to people that reject Christianity. We excel in Christ by comparing ourselves to the Word of God, the bible. We strive to be holy as God is holy.

Unless a person is as perfect as God is perfect, then it is not time to rest. You can rest when you get to heaven, but right now, you need to keep pressing on. Right now, you need your church family to encourage you to be the best version of yourself you can possibly be. That means time in the bible and prayer. That means meditating for a deeper understanding.

Living a great Christian life is possible, but we must follow the right standard, which is God, not sinners.
