ARCHIVAL NOTE: I don't often do tribute videos. Actors pass away all the time, actors whom I have deeper emotional connections to than even Chadwick Boseman, who was a relative newcomer. However, this was such an unexpected shock. This was a young man who had just starred in some of the biggest blockbusters in history; he had more films lined up; no one even knew he was ill. He didn't die in an accident, he didn't self-destruct; he died of cancer when hardly anyone knew he was ill. And out of nowhere, he's gone. He faced the disease with such quiet bravery; he didn't want to advertise it; he didn't virtue signal it. Indeed, he quietly continued to support sick children out of view of the camera, while he was ill himself. That is profoundly admirable. I was compelled to comment on it. Rest in peace, Chadwick.

ORIGAL DESCRIPTION: Chadwick Boseman, star of Marvel Studios "Black Panther," has died of colon cancer at the young age of 43. It was only seven years ago, in 2013, his first major starring role in "42" as baseball legend Jackie Robinson, made Hollywood first take notice of his poignant acting style, but it was his worldwide blockbusting debut as Black Panther which made him a global superstar. His time in the spotlight was brief, but his star will forever shine. In this video, Moonjumper shares his thoughts.
