Didi Ananda Krpa
The Spirit of Neo-humanistic Education

Didi Ananda Krpa is yogic nun and a missionary of Ananda Marga since 1983.

Presently based in Spain, she managed Ananda Marga Children’s homes and nursery schools in the Philippines, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Aside from that she teaches meditation and yoga to women, through seminars, workshops and lectures. Didi is also an ardent musician and teaches ukulele and guitar to children.

Didi will speak on the unique feature of neo-humanist education; its role and implementation for families living in on-the-land, in times of crisis, in a home or community setting.

Katrina Sloan
The heart of Warldorf education

Katrina Sloan lives in Devon U.K. She got involved with Steiner/Waldorf education since 1995 when she did an education degree in the university of Plymouth. She worked in the south Devon Steiner school and also the Steiner academy in Exeter. Her three children also have been educated in these schools.

Katrina Sloan introduces the unique features of Waldorf education and its possible role for families with children living in on-the-land community and she briefly touches on the practical implementation of these ideas.

Parvati Brennan
Home educating your children

With her teaching experience at the Neo-humanist-Montesorri based Sunrise primary in London, Parvati considers herself a Neohumanist teacher. She also received training there as a Montessori directress. As her children’s needed change, she moved to the Small School, to continue refining the green lifestyle she was building and to keep it all on human scale. There she offered yoga asanas and meditation and worked on National Trust conservation projects with the teenagers. Parvati obtained a permaculture diploma at this setting and later set up Sunrise Outreach, in Devon, a tiny project, to home educating her four young children. It soon interested other locals who sent their own children to the group.
