Stevie Ray Vaughan - Crossfire - Ft. Abraham Meyers - Collaboration
One of my favorites and this one is a collaboration with The Picking Pythagorean, (Abraham Meyers). Visit his channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/ThePickingPythagorean
Abraham is a professional musician and a great guy, to say the least, be sure to visit his channel and let him know that I sent you.
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released their fourth studio album, In Step, in 1989. The title In Step might be seen as a reference to Vaughan's newly acquired sobriety after years of drug and alcohol abuse that ultimately led to his admission to recovery. Additionally, it was Vaughan's last album with Double Trouble and his final record published during his lifetime. In 1990, he collaborated with his brother, Jimmie Vaughan, on the album Family Style; Stevie Ray Vaughan died in a helicopter accident later that year.
Vaughan was killed in a helicopter accident in East Troy, Wisconsin, after a performance at the Alpine Valley Music Theater with Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, and his elder brother Jimmie Vaughan earlier in the evening. Clapton never relinquished his position in the doomed chopper. According to Eric's memoirs, four helicopters were rented to transport artists back to Chicago. Stevie was in another chopper with two of Eric's crew members.
In 1999, the album was reissued with an audio interview part and four extra live recordings.

Lyrics:
Day by day night after night
Blinded by the neon lights
Hurry here, hustlin' there
No one's got the time to spare
Money's tight, nothin' free
Won't somebody come and rescue me
I am stranded
Caught in the crossfire
Stranded
Caught in the crossfire
Tooth for tooth, eye for an eye
Sell your soul just to buy, buy, buy
Beggin' a dollar, stealin' a dime
Come on, can't you see that I
I am stranded
Caught in the crossfire
I am stranded
Caught in the crossfire
I need some kind of kindness
Some kind of sympathy, oh no
We're stranded
Caught in the crossfire
Save the strong, lose the weak
Never turning the other cheek
Trust nobody, don't be no fool
Whatever happened to the golden rule
We got stranded
Caught in the crossfire
We got stranded
Caught in the crossfire
We got stranded
Caught in the crossfire
Stranded
Caught in the crossfire
