Revelation Session 55 February 6 2022

Teaching only from the Feb 6 2022 service: We continued our verse by verse study of the Book of Revelation on Sunday and continue on in Chapter 20. Our text was Revelation 20:11-15 which describes what is called the “Great White Throne Judgment.” This is the finale of human history. It is both a momentous event and a sobering one to contemplate. This judgment is for unbelievers only as the righteous have already been resurrected at the “First Resurrection.” The Great White Throne judgment confronts us with the sobering truth of everyone’s ultimate encounter with God. The Scripture teaches us in Hebrews 9:27; “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,.” We studied in detail how and why those summoned to this courtroom are there.
