2/4/22 was Summer Wells' 6th birthday. Her mother reports last seeing her on the afternoon of June 15th at their home in the 100 block of Ben Hill Road in Rogersville, TN. Summer's birthday was used by some YouTubers to continue to exploit her disappearance. Several other YouTubers asked for all creators to demonetize their videos or livestreams on this day if they chose to discuss Summer and/or her family. If they needed to monetize on this day, they could have covered another case or topic.

MGL hosted a fundraiser for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, then after her viewers reached the goal of $6,000, opened up Super Chats for herself.

Jay is 4 Justice hosted a 6 hour live stream (6 hours - 6 years of age of Summer), during which an artist drew a rendering of Summer. The artist, Scott E., suggested they run a raffle for the finished artwork and donate the proceeds to charity. Jay is 4 Justice appeared taken aback at the suggestion. Jay is 4 Justice has been sued for $1 million in a defamation suit, which was filed in November, 2021. She may have been counting on the money made during the 6 hour stream to pay some of her legal bills.

For MGL and Jay is 4 Justice, this is not the first missing person case they've exploited for profit.

Ziggy live streamed "Summer Wells Birthday Party Extravaganza!!!!", during which she played videos created by other YouTubers, in honor of Summer. Several viewers repeatedly asked Ziggy to turn off Super Chats so the focus could be on Summer, not on the revenue stream. Ziggy said she didn't know how to turn off Super Chats. Her tone of voice made it evident that the requests were irritating her. Instead of finding out how to turn them off, she opted to end the stream after only 2 hours and 23 minutes.
