The Abbey is a wonderful fly from Ray Berman's book Trout. A very popular fly years ago and it is still popular in some circles today. It is a enjoyable and uncomplicated wet fly that has many of the pieces and parts of wet flies and is a great one to tie if you are wanting to get started tying wet flies. The Mallard wing can present a challenge but it can be simplified by the method in the video. - Enjoy
