Waiting for the Second Coming, Pt. 1 (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10)

This morning we will be looking at Paul's high praise for the Thessalonian believers. One of the things he commends them for is their “waiting for his son from heaven.” Most of the church today is still waiting for the Parousia. So, why did the first century saints think that they would see it?
