Directors Criticizing STREAMING Don't Understand The THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE (Theaters v Streaming)

Directors like Christopher Nolan, Denis Villeneuve, and Patty Jenkins are coming out and criticizing the Streaming Model for Movie Distribution. It's sad to think that they think this is the way to save the Movie Theaters when the Movie Theaters have had problems stemming back at least 20 Years. The ultimate question here is is what is the Theatrical Experience to most people? Is it even worth saving for most people? Or would most people just want to watch these Big Budget Movies on Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, etc.?
