Chris Bryson Award Winning journalist who worked at Rockefeller center wrote the book The Fluoride Deception around 2004 after researching history for ten years he covers the story of Mellon Institute (ref: Gerald Cox) , Andrew Mellon, The Melon institute - He explains how temperature inversions in Steel Mill factories from sodium fluoride byproduct in Aluminum production resulted in ALCOA dumping large amounts of Sodium Fluoride in Colorado river (couldn't sell enough rat poison) leading to the name "Colorado Brown Stains" a condition now known as Dental Fluorosis- all the women in Colorado still have fucked up teeth till this day I have heard -the biggest hoax is that sodium fluoride prevents tooth decay because that is only the case if you get condition called Dental Fluorosis from the additive - We have covered this topic for over a decade with podcasts seven years ago discussing this history - In our opinion Bryson produced one of the best overviews of the history of how sodium fluoride became added to metropolitan drinking water.
