Kaohsiung's Apartment Building Construction Boom 🇹🇼 (2021-09) {aerial}

Footage covers apartment buildings in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Recently, a construction boom of
tall apartment buildings in otherwise mainly low rise residential neighborhoods can be observed in the city. The buildings are mushrooming at many locations. Urban planning appears to provide not many restrictions for such buildings e. g. regarding spacing to adjacent houses and height of the high-rises. Also, this urban consolidation means an increase of population and road traffic in neighborhoods with only narrow streets. Some of the new buildings do not blend in so well with the surrounding structures.
