This is easily one of the best 2-chord songs in the history of Rock and Roll...written by Stevie Nicks and arranged by Lindsey Buckingham, the song was constructed simply on purpose...the Lush 2-chord Rhythm was designed to get the Listener to become emotionally attached to the Song's Protagonist, who was running around, lustfully, out of the Left Brain, in the Hopes that we would See and Hear the ONLY Solution to this Age-old problem, which is, Only when the Purple Reign of Righteousness Washes Us Clean, do we ever come to see the Simple Truth in Life, of what Truly Matters and what doesn't...

When the rain washes you clean, you'll know
You'll know"

Carnal Pleasures will come and they will go when we choose to live without Honor and Virtue in our Lives, and the Rain will Fall and the Players will Play us...but if we should choose to embrace our Sacred Feminine Mother who is Virtue, then Her gentle waters will wash us Clean, and then You'll Know...God's perfect Truth...

And the whole of this album was written in a similar fashion by the Band's Three songwriters (Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie), as EVERYONE in Fleetwood Mac was going thru the destruction of their personal relationships at this time...and in particular, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were ending their 7-year relationship with each other, with a Mountain of Carnal Debt laying between them...and in time, all would admit that they had lost their personal connections to God, in favor of Making albums, Making Money and Touring with Drugs as a vice...but you could see and hear in every song, how they were aware, even at that time, that Casting our Nets to the Right side of the Vessel was the ONLY WAY to end this enormous world of Pain and Suffering...
