Freedom Convoy 2022 near Coutts Alberta

This is what happened on Highway 4 near the Coutts border crossing in southern Alberta, on 05 Feb 2022.

I witnessed a peaceful, festive, demonstration that involved young kids, teenagers, and adults of all ages. There was no violence of any kind,
no bad manners of any kind, and no negative interactions with the police of any kind. Many of the vehicles were semis, but many were cars and trucks. Lots of flags and horns.

These are good people exercising their freedom of peaceful assembly and freedom of association, both fundamental freedoms guaranteed under section 2 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. These are not racist and misogynists described by the current prime minister of Canada.
