In the lecture at the 1st Czecho-Slovak Covid-19 Conference prof. RNDr. Omar Šerý, Ph.D. covers methods for detecting the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the human body and in the environment. The technical part deals with sampling, transport, RNA isolation, RealTime PCR, evaluation of results and antigen tests. The research part then deals with the detection of coronavirus in the tissues of people who died of covid-19 and the detection of coronavirus in the environment.
