As an (GI) ostomate (Ileostomy, not colostomy), there are a lot of “good” foods that would put me in the hospital - potentially blocking my stoma output ability. Many of these foods are higher fiber, which are of course great choices for anyone - anyone without some particular GI challenges that is.

So I have to find alternative options that are stoma friendly. This protein powder is packed with plant based protein. It tastes great too! I have to thank my gal Margaret Brown for first introducing it to me several years ago!

Thanks to my gal Nancy Michaels who recommended the Matcha green tea powder too!

I do add small amounts of frozen fruit, and either water, or almond milk for additional bulk or that milkshake consistency but honestly, the protein powder tastes fine with just water!

As always with an ostomy, when trying something new, go small & slow. When it’s food, chew chew and chew some more. Digestion begins in the mouth!

Thanks for watching! If this video has been helpful, which is my goal, please consider liking and subscribing so that YouTube will pick it up and show others who may benefit from the information too.
