Today (09/09/2021) The Biden Administration withdrew it's nomination of anti-gun activist and ex-ATF agent David Chipman to head the ATF. The Biden Admin released a statement blaming Republicans for opposing not only Chipman, but a host of other misconstrued points.

This is a great victory for gun owners, and one that should show what can happen when we make our voices heard and put pressure on those that represent us. It is also a great reminder to those that still think that their voices are unheard and that they cannot make a difference.

This is probably not the last we will see or hear from David Chipman. It is likely the Biden administration will give him some sort of appointment in the White House, but nothing near the power granted by a Senate confirmation to head the ATF.
