This volume effectively ends the conflict aspect of the water seven arc. Luffy shows off his 3rd gear ability and the Straw Hat pirates get saved by an old friend. I will also go over volume 45 which acts more as an epilogue of sorts to this main story arc but, it still very important to the overall One Piece universe.
