Cypress, our Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog puppy is demonstrating doing heel, and keeping up with my pace. I am also training him for mobility assistance work. Cypress is 10 months old in this video.
This method of training is also used for teaching the task "counter balance" for a mobility assistance dog. Disclaimer- The dog needs to be big enough for performing this task, and have the proper screening for doing mobility work, or any type of pulling such as (forward momentum).

*Original Stock Lana Lou Lane (breed founder) bloodlines*
*OFA Certified Hips and Elbows.
