Free the People Goes to FreedomFest

FreedomFest is an annual festival where free minds meet to celebrate “great books, great ideas, and great thinkers” in an open-minded environment. It is independent, non-partisan, and not affiliated with any organization or think tank. This year’s FreedomFest in South Dakota seemed to have a little bit more energy, more people, more diversity, lots of young people, lots of young libertarians coming together and trying to figure out how we’re going to fix ourselves after this lockdown authoritarianism has nearly crushed the American spirit. We defend free choice in everything from drug policy, to health care and retirement, to every aspect of the sharing economy. Our values, like "equal treatment under the law" and "innocent until proven guilty," animate fights for criminal justice reform. We tell the stories of people who have lived through the hardships of authoritarianism and collectivism throughout history. We show our viewers that beautiful things can happen when free people come together to make the world a better place.
