Chris Jenkins was with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years, it said. I was driving through the South on Friday and this struck me. I’ve seen plenty of police escorts all over the country, but this one was endless blue and red lights with people stopping to pay tribute on overpasses. A Texas man is already facing charges. Rest In Peace.
