We started the show (00:51) discussing the string of pet loss suffered at Casa De Lane. In The News (06:55) we covered a Johns Hopkins meta study that shows authoritarian responses to COVID had almost no effect on mortality, a convoy of truckers taking over Ottawa to force an end to vaccine mandates, and a possible cure for leukemia that has resulted in 2 patients being cancer free for 10 years. In Cool Stuff (25:44) we had a look at a SEAL team taking a 6 year old disabled kid through their “room clearing” training as well as a list of “manly” Valentine’s day gifts. Our Tool of the Week (31:03) is Whoopi Goldberg (real name Caryn) after comment that the holocaust “was 2 groups of white people” and her apology that smacked of “I’m sorry you feel that way.” Finally, This Week in His Story (39:42) we learned about the 1912 change in rules for football that made it the game we know today, the Patty Hearst kidnapping and following “Stockholm Syndrome,” and Germany’s admission of liability in the Lusitania incident.
