It is possible that someone can be raised so different, that their approach to sense, action, behaviour, social skills is simply alien. Their way of life utterly out of comprehensive scope. Imagine people that have people that have people who farm effort of millions of people. Occasionally sacrificing some in literal rituals, rather than in military efforts on their behalf. The ways of such people, the wealth, utterly incomprehensible for most of us who access more than own a bracket where we access a few percentiles of wealth, they consider themselves to actually own.
The roots of such people, the great darkness around them. They aren't exactly estranged from that, unholy rage? Or setting us up against each other, and using such darkness.
