100: Trilogy Development is M-C's next PID!

Homeowners in Sonoma Verde may not be the only ones in the city of McClendon Chisholm to live in a public improvement district [PID], as the Huffines Community Development Group are schmoozing the mayor and city council to bring in their new proposed development, which will dwarf Sonoma Verde and create a millstone around the McLendon-Chisholm community's neck while the developers laugh all the way to the bank.

But shouldn't a landowner have the right to do whatever they want on their property, even if they're an unwelcome developer? Does the City Council actually have any leverage in this? Is the best thing to do just lay down and give the developer what they want and enjoy all of the "great tax benefits" promised by the developers?

It's time for some straight talk, not a bunch of spin, which is already emanating from members of City Council.
