Trucker convoy: Can unvaccinated truck drivers lose their jobs due to cross-border vaccine mandate?

Convoys of truckers and supporters across the country are converging at Canada's capital as early as Friday to demand an end to COVID-19 vaccine mandates, including a cross-border measure that requires unvaccinated Canadians to quarantine for two weeks after delivering their load.

For those truck drivers not in compliance with that federal mandate, what legal rights do they have? Can an unvaccinated trucker lose their job if it affects their ability to transport across the border because of the mandate?
