Functional Benefits/Malefics in Astrology

Trinal houses 1, 5 and 9th are auspicious for all ascendant (unless they rule the 6th). Any planet associated with Trishadaya houses 3, 6 and 11th will create difficulties in our charts, especially the 11th. These are also Upachaya houses as is 10th and with time we learn to use them effectively.
Angles 4, 7 and 10th do well if a malefic rules them (Malefics are Sun, Mars and Saturn). Malefics are great at getting fruits from those houses, this makes them less maleficent, more neutral. Benefic planets which are Jupiter, Venus, Moon and Mercury, are not strong enough to deal with the angles and as such lose their benefic nature becoming more neutral to the chart.
2, 8 and 12th houses are impressionable and don't spoil anything. 2, 7 and 8th are Marakas and as such can cause health issues. Check these from the Ascendant and the Moon.
