In an NYC joint press briefing on gun violence with NYC Mayor Adams, Governor Hochul, and Attorney General Garland, President Joe Biden said that no amendment is absolute and that the Second Amendment doesn't cover assault weapons, the same way it didn't cover cannons when it was written.
