Science and Spirituality: Molecules and Miracles

Carl Sagan, to his credit, ate enough acid to be able to understand that science and spirituality are not mutually exclusive. Sadly, this observation from one our most brilliant scientific minds has been ignored by the generations of colleagues that followed, even mocked and ridiculed. He was correct, and it matters. Maybe more than anything.
It is also true however that our culture is a breeding ground for Gallen-Kruger, and, the population hasnt been getting any smarter over the last few decades, and so, as a consequence, New-age quackery that seeks to ally itself with science usually only succeeds in embarrassing itself, and discouraging sceptics from opening their mind. We must be adept at differentiating between lunatic logic, and sound theory and practice. The road to hell is not only paved to hell with good intentions, it is also furnished and decorated with them as well.
And so, if thou set foot upon the Path, and thou seeketh earnestly, as an aspirant to the Halls of Truth, thou hath an Holy Obligation to knoweth thy shit. True wisdom comes from holistic study and experience, and is not acquired by lazily surfing the internet, or skimming articles and books. Making a sincere, focused, and OBJECTIVE effort to acquire at least some basic knowledge of physics, psychology, sociology, different schools of mysticism, various and sundry spiritual practices, and most importantly, responsible entheogen use, will yield for thine eyes the Philosophers Stone.
I will offer my experience to assist you in this journey, but only if you take a solemn Oath, knowing that we will have your tongue cut out if you speak of the things that are shared during this livestream.
