In their eagerness to depose the "Orange Menace," Donald Trump, Democrat voters apparently forgot how much they hated the Patriot Act. How they had despised George W. Douche Jr. for signing it into law. They forgot their concerns that it might be used against American citizens, as it was when Barack Obama signed a death warrant for three American citizens who were killed by drone strike, a legal act under the jurisdiction of the Patriot Act. This was the first time American citizens had been executed legally for suspicion of a crime without a trial, at least legally. In fact, their memories failed them so completely that many of them voted for the man who claimed to be the primary author of the aforementioned human rights atrocity.
That same man has just declared literally millions of Americans "extreme, violent, terrorists," a label more than sufficient to enable the implementation of the Patriot Act and arrest these persons under its special provisions. These include, but are not limited to: suspension of Habeas Corpus, disallowance of a phone call, suspends right to legal representation, and even the accused's right to trial. It does make some allowances as well, such as allowing for indefinite detention, and even permits torture of the accused. So in short, after determining that an individual qualifies as a "terrorist," under a terrifyingly broad definition, you can be arrested and held for the rest of your life without a phone call, without a formal charge, and you can be tortured for that entire duration of your incarceration. You will simply disappear, and no one will no why.
And now, the author of this bill has committed his attorney general, and assembled a secret police force task for dealing dissenters, and has labeled millions of people as qualified persons. Millions.
