RENO, Nev. – February 3, 2021 – Wendy Rogers (R), US Senator from Arizona, has announced her endorsement of Nevada gubernatorial candidate Joey Gilbert.

Rogers was one of the first 100 women Air Force pilots and went on to pilot the C-141 transport jet for worldwide airlift and humanitarian missions including the Bosnian Airlift.

As a US Senator for Arizona, Rogers takes a firm stand on election integrity. Rogers strongly supported the 2021 Maricopa County presidential ballot audit initiated by Arizona Senate Republicans. After the audit uncovered large numbers of irregular and potentially fraudulent votes, Rogers began a campaign to audit elections in all fifty states and called for each state to “decertify its electors where it has been shown the elections were certified prematurely and inaccurately.”

The former US Air Force flight instructor is a steadfast supporter of the second amendment and border security and aligns with Republican candidate Joey Gilbert on these and several other issues. Rogers appreciates that Gilbert has worked hard to prove himself and remarked that she is “proud to be with a fine American who earned his way up the ladder so that he can represent Nevadans.”

Rogers is confident that she and Gilbert will bring about a shift in with the approaching mid-term elections and looks forward to a good working relationship between their respective neighboring states. “I expect a reawakening to build across this country and with Nevada being near Arizona we’re in this together.”
