Peyton & Eli Manning Hit Ratings Home Run For ESPN
Ratings for ESPN have steadily declined over the last several years...as the network has allowed some of their high-profile personalities to become more political. ESPN saw record low ratings for the ESPYS this summer...and SportsCenter has been struggling for years.
Peyton Manning and Eli Manning have proven...if ESPN would center their programming strictly around sports...people will watch. The Mannings saw a 132% week-over-week increase in ratings for their Monday Night Football simulcast on ESPN2.
We reveal the ratings for Peyton and Eli Manning Monday night...and explain why they saw such a massive increase. We also wonder how ESPN will handle this success going forward...and if they will mess this up like they have so many things in the recent past.
