This video is a supplement to the book Train Smart: Self-Coaching for Practical Shooting. Ankle strength is extremely important for explosive movement. It is one of the most common places to have energy leaks in movement. Here are some exercises you can do to keep your ankles strong!

In practical shooting, we need to be prepared to run on all different types of terrain. Be sure to also use proper footwear that does not have so much grip it tears at your knees, and also has a soft rubber bottom so you don't slip.
