Failed Female Crossovers - Fair Game, Showgirls, Barb Wire

The Salty Nerds discuss Failed Female Crossover movies, where gorgeous women tried to make the leap into feature films, and failed miserably at it.

First up is the 90s classic, Fair Game, where supermodel Cindy Crawford teams up with the Mid-Range Baldwin to fight ex-KGB agents who don't like her sniffing around their boats.

Next is the cult classic SHOWGIRLS, starring Jessie Spano from Saved by the Bell, and not starring any of her clothes. This Paul Verhoeven film is the FIRST NC-17 movie to ever be reviewed on the Salty Nerd Podcast, and boy-o-boy, is it bad!

Finally, the Nerds round out the episode by talking about Pamela Anderson's big screen debut in the movie Barb Wire. Based on a comic book of the same name, there's lots of fabulous outfits, crazy hair, and nonsense plot elements.

Fun fact - all three of these movies were Razzie award nominees! (And they all won something there, too!)
