1967 Mercury 950 95hp revisit carbs and rectifier #nashville #percypriestlake #oldhickorylake

Hawkeye Marine just revisiting this 1967 Mercury 950 95hp outboard. I took the top carb off. Which seemed like it had and issue with it. I discovered it had some blockage in the bottom jet. It also had a small hairline crack in the emulsion tube. I had one of those and replaced.

The battery was on a charger and I checked the output of the rectifier. It was swinging wildy in voltage so, I think we have a bad rectifier. I have order a couple of those.

I also revisited the fuel pumps. I now have the pumps working and its pressurizing good.
